To ensure you have the best first jump skydive please read this important first skydive information.

After booking your skydive you’ll receive a booking confirmation from Skydive Monterey Bay. That confirmation email will confirm the date and arrival time of your jump.

Below is important information to read and understand prior to arriving at our skydiving center including our location and directions, mandatory skydiving requirements, our reservation and refund policy, airport rules, safety tips, pro skydiving tips to make your jump more enjoyable, a guideline on what to expect on your jump, and information on skydiving video and picture packages.

Mandatory Tandem Skydiving Requirements

 

To tandem jump with Skydive Monterey Bay all participants must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age or older. Valid photo identification (US Driver’s license or ID, or passport) must be presented to validate age on jump day.
  • Weight restrictions begin at 200 lbs. Please call or email us if more than 200 lbs (100 kg). Some exceptions apply.
    Every jumper’s weight is verified upon arrival.
  • Not have consumed alcohol or drugs within the preceding 12 hours. Skydiving is a 100% sober activity. You will not be permitted to skydive if you are under the influence or any alcohol or drugs.
  • Not take phones or metal items on the airplane.

Reservation & Refund Terms

  • We do not issue refunds for any payments made, for any reason. We will either reschedule your jump for another day or issue a flight voucher.
  • Your paid deposit amount will be deducted from for your total balance on the day of the jump.
  • Changes to existing reservations require 24 hours advance notice or your deposit will be forfeited.
  • Failure to check-in at your scheduled arrival time will result in a forfeited deposit.
  • Adding jumpers to a reservation is possible depending upon availability. Please contact us.

Proper Skydiving Attire

 

 

Come as the legend you are! Costumes and bright colors look amazing in skydiving video and pictures. We can accommodate most costumes provided there are no safety issues. Or, if you’re going low key here are a few guidelines for safe, comfortable proper clothing for skydiving.

What to Expect on Jump Day

 

Skydive Monterey Bay Ocean View Skydiving Experience

 

Arrival

  • Your booking/reservation time is your arrival time.
  • Arrive on time, or early! Failure to do so could result in missing your flight.
  • Bring a valid photo identification (USA Driver’s License, USA ID Card or Passport.
  • Bring a warm jacket or sweater as coastal temperatures can be 10-15 degrees cooler than inland.

Operations

  • Upon arrival you’ll check in at the reception desk for registration and check-in.
  • Once all check-ins are complete, we’ll begin training and gear-up. We have lockers for valuables and keys may be stored with the office during you skydive.
  • You will be assigned a flight number for your skydive and escorted to the loading area prior to your flight.
  • After your jump, our staff will return you to our hangar.
  • Please plan for a half day commitment (Weekday: 2-4 hours; Weekend or Holidays: 4-6 hours)

Skydiving over the iconic Monterey Bay delivers stunning visuals and an epic backdrop for incredible skydiving video and pictures. Our talented aerial videographers shoot a mini documentary of your experience, capturing all the highlights, emotions, and action. Then, our editing team polishes up the raw video into a refined and professionally edited production.

When checking in for you skydive you can add one of our video and photo packages to capture your experience. Skydive video and pictures packages start at $99/person.
